1. Information gathering and usage
When registering for SAU we ask for information such as your email address. For SAU Premium we also store your PayPal (and/or other payment details) and mobile phone number. Your information is only used internally and won't be shared with others.
We can also ask for information which is required for efficient collaboration with other users, i.e. your name of nickname which will enable other users to identify you. This information is not necessary for registration.
SAU collects the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email. We only collect personal data that is required to provide our services, and we only store it insofar that it is necessary to deliver these services.
2. Legal grounds
SAU complies with the requirements of Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore, 2012) as well as other similar legal acts. Data protection officer in SAU can be contacted via email: email@example.com.
At any time, you can request the information on the personal data we have collected and the ways it has been used or disclosed within one year before the date of the request.
At any time, you can withdraw your consent for collection, use and disclosure of the personal data by sending notice to firstname.lastname@example.org this case, within thirty (30) days after serving such notice, personal data will be deleted. After that we will not be able to continue providing you with our services.
3. Your personal data
SAU uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run SAU. Although SAU owns the code and databases, you retain all rights to your data. We will never share your personal data with a 3rd party without your prior authorization, and we will never sell data to 3rd parties. We transfer data with third-parties necessary to our ability to provide our services, all of whom are GDPR-compliant and provide the necessary safeguards required if they are outside of the EU (for example, compliance with PDPA in case of Singapore).
5. Ad servers
We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.
All data and information transmitted using best practices regarding traffic by TLS 1.1-1.2 secure channels and support both 128-bit or 256-bit configurations (depending on the browser). And we use SSL either.
If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
